Description
Up for bidding: Here is a part of history. A Land Deed signed by the 27th President William Howard Taft himself for Black Bob, a Native American Shawnee Chief. Also has the United States General and Office land seal stamp on document. Document is from October 25, 1909. William Taft (born September 15, 1857) was in office from 1909-1913. Black Bob is known for being one of the last Shawnee Indians to resist leaving the Indian Territory, and keeping his tribe together. This is one piece of history you do not want to miss out on! Condition - Pre-owned and used. This is over 100 years old. Original note/document with original signature on paper in FINE condition. Item is folded, has creases, some stains and few tears. See Photos.
