1988 "Superstar" Collectible Plaques by Tara - Nolan Ryan (Hall of Fame) Houston Astros (on 8-1/2" x 10-3/8" card; plaque measures approximately 7" x 7") - EX-MT condition sealed on original card. This issue prodeuce by Tara in 1988 included 48 color head photos of National and American League superstars printed on die-cut plaques with a baseball over a baseball diamond as background. The plaques were distributed one to a package with a display easel included in each. The set checklist was printed on the back of each package (see the scan). Like other unique baseball collectibles, these are getting harder and harder to find in top condition. I would judge this one to be EX-MT with no creases on the card, (there is some very minor edge wear and a tiny bit of paper loss just below the word "collectible" near the top right corner, but please see the scan for your own assessment of the condition of this one. The plaque in the scan is the actual item you will receive. No collection of Nolan Ryan or Houston Astros items is complete without this great item. You won't be disappointed! DON'T GET LEFT OUT!!
