An epoch-making model that cemented the global reputation of BOSS. It has a wide range of delay time from 12.5msec to 800msec, far surpassing the capabilities of conventional analog delays. It also had an excellent frequency response, with a flat frequency range from 40Hz to 7kHz. The digital hold function and the two stereo outputs were just a few of the features that made it a groundbreaking machine that heralded the arrival of a new era in compact effects pedals.
