Dwight Eisenhower typed letter signed "Ike", composed on 21 May 1962 on his personal gilt-monogrammed stationery. Addressed to his brother Edgar, Eisenhower writes in part, "You may or may not have seen a new magazine called 'USA - 1'. It is a magazine of monthly news and current history. In the May issue is an article called 'The Pinnacle of Controversy.' It is a partial history of the Supreme Court…you would find particularly interesting the latter part which deals with the tour of John Marshal [sic]…" Letter measures 7" x 10.25". Punch holes, else near fine.
