Today we are pleased to offer this great vintage Roland RE-301 Chorus Echo unit

It pains me to list this this classic, but I can't quite get it to run 100%.  Sometimes, the echo works flawlessly!  But most of the time it doesn't.  There is a definite echo speed related issue, as well as some ocassional wow and flutter.  I fear the motor is going to have to be replaced to make this unit perfect - but perhaps I'm wrong and there's an easier fix available.  I'm not a tech and I don't have the time to tinker these days.  If you have the expertise, this could be the unit for you.  It definitely works as is, but it's not 100%.
With that said, everything else on this unit works perfectly.  The chorus and reverb sound fantastic.  All inputs and outputs work without issue, as do all switches.  VU meter functions and the light is also functional; peak level light functions as it should.  All knobs are included.  There are some minor rips to the tolex, as well as some general wear, but this unit remains in nice condition overall.
Several parts were purchased from Echo Fix and installed by my tech.  1 x Tape Tension Spring, 1 x Original Style Green Felt Set (Tape path & Tension Felts), 1 x Tape Feed Bearing, 1 x Improved GREEN Pinch Roller, 1 x Black New Roller Cap.
Unit comes with two new Echo Fix tape loops, the original manual (not pictured), a head demagnitizer and some sewing machine oil.
