The model is the second one issued in the distinctive STAR TREK: DISCOVERY OFFICIAL STARSHIPS COLLECTION. It is made of die-cast and ABS materials, hand-painted with intricate detail using references from CBS Studios's own archives of designs and CG models, and comes with its own display stand.
The model comes with an exclusive collector's magazine featuring details about the vessel and its design, along with a breakdown of the technology on board.
