This includes a great inside article entitled "THE FORBIDDEN CAMPAIGN AGAINST VENEREAL DISEASE". (These educational ads were never released because some groups called them “too controversial.” With the diseases again on the rampage, should we now revive the campaign.) Nice article! Nice Photos! There are photos of 4 anti-VD posters. These bear the slogans: “YOUNG MAN, NEVER MENTION THAT LOATHSOME DISEASE IN MY PRESENCE AGAIN!” “HOW DOES YOUR DAUGHTER PRONOUNCE SYPHILIS GONORRHEA?” “WHO KEPT THIS FAKER IN BUSINESS?” and “YOU’LL NEVER HAVE A BABY…” As well, there is a group of quotes from “WHAT SOME PROMINENT PEOPLE THINK.” Pageant Magazine in this era is a digest full of photos and articles that touch on themes of the day. This is a wonderful time capsule and measures a little over 5.5 inches X 7.5 inches. It is in very fine shape; not mint but gently read and a scarce find! A great piece FOR THE COLLECTOR!
